Thank you to all the shops that donated and helped promote this event. It was a collective effort from the surf community to bring everybody together to celebrate the wave of the winter. Big shout-out to the Ska Daddyz, who set the tone for the night with an amazing performance. Shout out to Darren “Zorba” Cruz for helping along to make the night run seamlessly. It would not have been possible without everyone who liked, re-posted, submitted waves, the surfers, the filmmakers, photographers, surf fans, parents, volunteers, the madewest staff, and the winners of Wave of the Winter.

It was a fundraiser for the Ventura Board riders, and it’s an event I love to be a part of and want to continue to make bigger and better.
